If there is anyone out there, who concerns about our children’s English writing especially in secondary schools, who actually advocates writing as an effective practice to train students’ logical thinking, delivering thoughts through words fluently and systematically either vocal or written? If yes, we are in the same boat.
As a school teacher, at times, I am quite at a loss to the matter of fact that writing seems to be a taboo and a mission impossible for many weak students and surprisingly it even goes the same to some students in elite classes. This is so due to some foreseen but excusably reasons.
Well, It is believed that students do lack of self confidence in writing in English language, lack of proficiency in grammar, language structure and also the ways of doing it. Most of all, students do not get enough exposure to writing.
In some worrying yet shocking cases, students are only given one to two or even none essay writing throughout the year. To make things worse, some educators have a tendency believing that students’ can’t write. Ridiculously, some even desperately think that writing is done by memorizing model essays and they call this as writing.
In fact, writing is not merely written to score in exams. It is trained to make their minds roam freely with pleasures and gradually find it a wonderful journey in expressing one’s ideas effectively.
Writing can be well nurtured if students are given chances to do so. Therefore, educators should encourage the young blood to discover their true-self via doing self reflection on their own behaviors as they write, observing human nature, people or things happening around them and hence gain experiences, awareness, philosophy of life and most of all wisdom.
Please don’t doubt students’ ability in writing, please don’t kill but build their interest, please go extra miles to support, facilitate and tolerate their mistakes made, please make them feel that writing Is a pleasurable pass time that students can enjoy in the world of language.
Teachers and parents should encourage our children to explore freewriting, journals, articles, story, poems or go blogging. We try to create an environment for our children to use a foreign language confidently and courageously as a preparation for them to stand on the stage of world one-day with grace.
Believe me that children are more learnable than we think, more appreciative than they seem, and more creative than we believe. Let’s hand in hand, make our children become thinkers with souls, not thinkerers without minds. In short, writing is that counts

STAGE
Showing traits of characters
building up one's confidence
Life...like a drama
of all sorts...
of all kinds...
experiences that we pass-by,
full of jealously and envious,
filled with joys and laughter,
consisting of inspiration
and desperation,
Life...
Truly a stage of representing abilities
toward SELF-ACTUALIZATION!

Sea
Sandy beach covered the surface of the surrouding, fair and smooth, with coconut trees and logwood accompanying its pictureque scenery which is rarely found on earth that can guarantee a relaxing and heart warming atmosphere. Slightest breath of air shivers the grassland and bushes, buzzling bees flying ,gentle butterflies dancing. The happiest is me standing at the centre of the beach, what a life!
HAPPINESS
To most people who have flesh, blood and souls are constantly experiencing the process and progress of life.A sense of tranquility peace of mind is reraly understood and hence it is also misinterpreted by so many others out there, sadly. However, despite such circumstances, a foreseen opportunity of attanining pleasures is much gained by those who walk with grace, dance profoundly with butterflies and sing whole-heartedly with daffodils-What a pure happiness!

AN UNNOTICED SOUL
There is a girl,
Who has caught my nerve,
I was clueless at how to serve,
and I said "Hold On" to my tears.
Four years of breathing on the tiny bed,
It seems like a trap,
Forcefully trapped in a spider's net,
This is... HOW SAD!
Of 1-year-old-sized she looks,
Cramped limbs are never loose,
Rolling tears round her Indian eyes are never lost,
So pitiful the girl is, my Lord.
Moaning in pain,
Suffering to death,
Struggling to breathe,
Life is at times insane.
Realizing She is tiny and short,
Can't move or walk,
Knowing she can't eat and talk,
study or shop.
But,
She shows no sign of despair,
never compromise to fate.
In fact,
She is stronger than she seems,
braver than we think,
and more positive than we believe.
And the only thing
she can do in her life
is to keep her heart-beat
goes on...
till her eyes are
finally...CLOSED!

How malevolent a lady can be?
A young lad accidentally confessed,
A young lady mistakenly accepted,
Since that very moment...
Unrest began!
A day sorrowfully passed,
A break up call was sung.
Storm came like bullets,
Friendship vanished ... dusty!
A month later,
Friends not welcomed,
I then wondered...
Hmm..rumors spread,
Hitting me painfully,
It was reaaly heart bleeding,
I, accepted broadly!
Quite malevolent a lady can be!

TEACHING PROFESSION
I sometimes ask myself,
"for how long will i stay in teaching profession?"
Well, every one longs for a better life, better career,
and even better income.
Mixed feelings emerge from my heart, not my mind.
You should go further, gain bigger achievement!
No, you should stay and educate the younger generation.
You should show your talent and drive a luxury car!
No, you should be conteded with what you are blessed!
Oh god!
Like both black and white angels having a conversation
on both sides of my ears.
YESTERDAY... AS I CAME OUT FROM BATHROOM...
As i read the greeting cards given by so many of my
dear students since 2006 till current,
the touching momories cannot be forgotten,
somehow remembered by me...
As the saying, "People may forget what you did,
People may forget what you said, but people will
never forget how you made them feel."
I might be in this profession, now and i leave the word
"always"
to FATE!
Anyway, i kind of enjoying my teaching life so far although
they are at times thunderstorm... Hmm...
