SPM has just begun

Well, to my Form 5 students, i hope you can understand what it means by "Hard Work Pay"...
All of you have tried the best to learn the language skills from me...
I know, sometimes i gave lots of works for you to do...

But, do you know why?

You guys had only 6 months left and SPM was coming soon,
Time was short....
You paid the tution fee, i had to make sure that all of you could get better results...
i pushed you a lot, dont you think you learnt a lot from what i wanted you to read or do??
I dont emphasize on results, the most important thing in life is about "How do you live?"
I wanted to train your personality to be a better person...
Be filial to parents, be polite to everyone especially elders, be honest, be responsbile in whatever you do, be generous and do charity by helping the poor...and so on!
As a teacher, your success is my responsibility...

Well, my heart was calmed these few days, i always pray that you guys can pass the BM and do well in the English Exam...

But, most importantly, i hope you guys will not forget what i have taught in class, such as...

a. 成功者找方法，失败者找借口！
b. 过去不等于未来，没有失败，只是暂时停止成功！
c. 上帝的延迟并不是上帝的拒绝！
d. 肯吃苦，苦一阵子。 不肯吃苦，苦一辈子。
e. 放弃等于零。。。
f. 子要还有呼吸，就还有希望！
g. 一个事情的发生必有其目地并有助于我！
h. 用爱心做事也， 用感恩的心做人！

My Birthday Celebration on 10th Nov 2008

10th November is my birthday

My Form 5 students celebrated for me

They wanted to give me a surprise...

But, i saw the cake hiding at the back of the class...

HaHA... This is a beautiful cake, tasty and wonderful...



It is fate that bonded us together, i am very happy that you guys do catch my thinking, what i want, what i like, what i dislike, what is my aim, what are my aims towards you all, and so on...

Although i am your teacher, i am also your friend who can share happiness and sadness together with you!

Although i am your teacher, i am also a shelter who can provide you with bread when you are hungry!

Although i am your teacher, i am also a listener who can listen to your problems and give you the proper guidance!

Our class started in June and our class ended on the day of my birthday... I think it is "FATE"

Suprised by Form 5 Students

Today, 8th Nov of 2008, it is an unforgetable day as my students from Form 5 bought something special for me...Thailand Bullet Amulet

I was very happy when i received this birthday present. But, what i really concerned is about their money! The Fopai is not cheap at all. They have spent lots of money just to buy that for me. Yup, i was indeed very touched. Actually, if they were to write a card for me, i would be very touched and happy already. This is the most precious gift from students to a teacher!

I have told them about the bullet in my classes before. They know that i love it. Actually, i never dare to ask the boss lady about the price of this bullet. Because i am afraid that i would buy it some other day!

MONEY NO ENOUGH

Money No Enough, how to do charity? No money to pay for the rental. I am a poor man with little money left in my wallet. I am poor, i am really broke......

Who can help me? God? Buddha? No no, they cant't. I can't rely on them as the fortune is in my hands...

First Visit To Batu-Pahat Old Folk's Home

First time i stepped into old folk's home. The president for the old fold's home is a nice guy. He almost explained everything to me about the expenses, how do they care for the old folks, what prizes have they won, where have they visited, what to donate and what not recommended to donate...and etc!

In fact, after walking around in the compound of the old folk home. i found that the environment is actually quite comfortable. Besides, i learnt that there are lots of students or other people from all works of life visit the place, they donate money, sing songs to the old people, having dinner or birthday party together with them.

Some old people did not look at me, i can say some of them never bothered to take a look at me. But, some were happy to see me. The first moment i went there, i saw 3 old guys sitting alone at different places. Each of them was looking aimlessly at somewhere as if there are lots of stories behind them. My heart sank deeply down, it hurt me!

I felt sorry for them and i have decided to do my best to help. Yes, i have no money now. But, i can always ask my friends or relatives to donate some. Then, i can bring the money there. Or it might be good to ask those who are willing to come along with me.

CHARITY, CHARITY, CHARITY...

Final lesson for Form 5 Students

To: Dear Ferlin, Snow and Happy Plus

It all started when i received a call from Ferlin on May. She requested English Conversation Class but it ended up having English Tuition after i gave my opinion. From 7 students dropped to 6, from 6 then reduced to 5. Well, 5 to 4, 4 to 3, 4 to 4 again and finally left 3.

 Those survivors are Ferlin, Snow and Happy Plus.

Funny and interestingly, it all happened in just 6 months. Anyway, i have enjoyed having them in my classes. Despite the fact that there are only 3 of them. Although i have been worried about my personal financial problem, but we continued to learn together.

Teaching them the English Language has not been easy as i need to make sure that they can get better results in SPM English which is called as 1119 paper. Building their foundation was difficult because at first their standard were quite low.

But, i remember, i told them a few times that, some people who cannot endure the intensive training in my class would drop the class. Yup, some did. However, 3 of them managed to come a long way so far.

Most of the time, they did not do the works that i assigned. Sometimes, they would ask me to cancell the class at the last minute. The fact is that, i already at the tuition centre. Why didn't they tell me earlier if they were not coming to the class?? I don't know. I regard them as young adults, they should know what they are doing and know what is right or wrong.

We have spent hours and hours together... Sometimes, we even spent the whole day in the class.

I am proud to say that, although i am not the best teacher, they have improved a lot especially in their writing skills, Literature and some skills in tackling the exam.

We had fun in the class. We made jokes, we laughed together. Some of them would bomb me. Anyway, i bombed them back too. lol:-)

Having a teacher like me who always cant control the mouth, speaking rude words (taboo) such as bullshit, fuck, kanasai and others. Hopefully, they wont learn the bad part of me. But, instead, they have learnt some good part of mine.

I believe i have not only taught them the English skills, but, what more important is that i have shown them the ways to become a better person. Confidence, committment, devotion, motivation, moral values, responsibility and so on.

They will always be on my mind. I sincerely wish them good luck and all the best. Whatever it is, my support for them will never end. They will achieve something big in future. -I HOPE.

Karate Championship of ASEAN UNIVERSITY

Hi, there will be a Karate tournamet hosted by Malaysia, participants will come from Asean Countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Burma, Vietnam, Laos, Brunei and so on..

This morning, the organizer called me to help out in this tournament. Yup, i agreed. I will be one of the secretariats. Wow, this is a good chance for me to get in touch with so many university studetns from various countries. i will appreciate this opportunity and carry out my duty nicely...

But, i need to sacrific my time. I was told that i need to go on Nov 28- Dec 02 for the five day course. Then, i need to move again from Dec 9 to Dec 22.... Again, i will need to sacrifice my precious time.

I am troubled today...

Becoming a school teacher next year or continue to further my masters degree next year??

i have been pondering bout it since this early morning... yet, there is no final conclusion!@

- It depends on my family's financial, economic has been bad and it greatly influenced my family's finance. If i further my masters degree, i would be very selfish because i still cannot contribute anything to my family when they are facing financial problems...

But, on the other hand, i will definitely further my masters degree if my family's economic is ok and smooth...
