Oh My God... Time flies and it is blown away easily without us notice. My school, SMKTA has 6 Tests plus Exams a year and i think it is indeed towering up all other schools in BP.
All teachers have to rush with the syllabus and students will have to follow teachers' footsteps. I am afraid that due to limited time given, teachers have no other alternative but to resort to teach just for the sake of fulfilling the test requirements. On the other hand, students are victims as they have to accept the reality.
The reason of implementing 6 tests a year is good actually as our school will get better ranking due to excellent academics. However, excellent academics do not mean that students are able to live outside the world. It dosent mean that our school can produce generations who are able to think. I doubt!
Anyway, as one of the school teachers at STA, i can only follow the rules but i have to ensure that what i teach is positve in and out. I hope!

Haha...It's true that we are the victims!
I am very curious why that our school have the more examination compare with the last year.Last year only five exam but this year have six exam.When the exam is coming,I always very scared for my result,because my mum have give me too much stress to me!I can't relaxed!But,I always try,I fail...
Why the exam is so important?

Exams are actually to evaluate students' knowledge/ understanding towards each subject. But unfortunately, exams nowadays are misused, parents or students only want to see scores... marks above everything! They no longer care about the real knowledge or character building. Students merely take and throw! Which means that memorise the notes for exams and after that forget everything. Sadlyl, this happens everywhere in Malaysia.
Anyway, i hope you will find the real meaning and have positive attitude towards the tests or exams!'-

Tests and exams are good for students to gauge the level of their understanding of the subjects. But some over zealous board impose too much on the poor students that they emphasize more on the academic results than the knowledge that they are imparting to the students. Which often results in students dreading to take up tests or exams, and therefore spoils the purpose of one.
